1. Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.
2. Passing Scores on Praxis Core. Praxis Core is waived for candidates with SAT scores
of 1100 or higher, the minimum scores: 530 Math and 530 Verbal. Before 4/1/1995, a score of
1000 and minimum of 450 Verbal and 510 Math will exempt Praxis I. ACT composite scores of
24, Math-22, Plus Reading-46.
3. Minimum GPA of 2.75.
4. Two Letters of Reference
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBTÂ totalÂ score of 80 or above. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall band score of 6.5 or above.

课程简介

The ECED M.A.T. Program is designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree and are interested in a career as a teacher of young children. The program offers a graduate degree, Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Virginia teaching license in early childhood education (Prek-3). Through a sequence of courses and related field experiences, candidates are prepared to teach young children in preschool through primary grades. The program is fully accredited by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Can be completed in a year and a half. Courses offered in late afternoon, evening, & summer. Field experiences involve participation in area schools one full day per week for two semesters and culminate with a full time student teaching internship for 12 weeks during the final semester.<br>Credits: 39
