The Child Development and Family Relations (CDFR) concentrations offers a holistic, ecological, and integrative perspective on children and families. The CDFR curriculum challenges students to examine individuals and families in the environments in which they live, work, and play. Stages of individual and family development and the relationships people form throughout their lives are prominent aspects of the program. Student majoring in CDFR receive practical experience in professionals settings such as practicums, field experiences, and/or internships.
