Applicants for the Early Child Development and Education doctoral degree need to have a relevant master’s degree or prerequisite equivalents for core area, a minimum of 3.5 GPA for all prior graduate work, and preferred minimum GRE scores: Verbal 147 (410) Quant. 144 (500) Analytical (4). Doctoral applicants are expected to submit a current Vitae/Resume, a letter of intent that includes program goals and research interests, and three letters of recommendation. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), or 79 (iBT), International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 or higher.
