Applicants for the Ph.D. in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy must have completed a master's degree from a recognized/accredited college or university. A doctoral degree in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy requires the completion of the Foundational Curriculum, offered in COAMFTE accredited master's degree programs. If you obtained your master's degree from a non-accredited MFT program or in a discipline other than MFT, it may be necessary for you to take additional coursework in order to meet the requirements of the Foundational Curriculum. We can work with you to determine what, if any, additional coursework may be required.

TOEFL - The minimum TOEFL score required is 550 (paper-based version) or 79 (internet-based version).
