All applicants for the Family Studies graduate programs must submit a letter of intent and a vita/resume. Individuals applying for the doctorate are expected to hold a completed Master’s degree with a minimum of 3.35 GPA for all graduate work. After the admissions committee reviews the application, letter of intent and vita, an invitation for an on-campus visit will be issued to the applicants who they determine are qualified for the program. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), or 79 (iBT), International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 or higher, GRE verbal score of 500 (153, Revised GRE) or higher.
