The BFA will focus on, relative to footwear and accessories: Identification and use of materials and hardware, Pattern drafting , Machine and hand sewing leather techniques, The use of industry standard tools and equipment, The application of a design process to design, develop and build ranges, 3D construction methods, Consumer, market and trends, Hand sketching and CAD, including 3D design software, Industry standard specification sheets, Presentation of work with emphasis on defending the work in the context of current and future trends in footwear, Building an extensive portfolio of work relevant to today's and future accessory trends, Finding and developing a personal design aesthetic.
