Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies prepares you to work in a diverse economic marketplace (including legal, business, governmental, NGO and educational contexts) and become informed citizens in a diverse social world. Our program utilizes intersectional, feminist theory and LGBTQ plus studies to build critical thinking skills necessary for navigating the current political and social moment. Our courses focus on issues of power, identity and inequality locally, nationally and internationally. You will leave the program with skills to fight for equity and inclusion with integrity and skills to be good stewards of your community. Our classes include analytical, reflective, creative and activist projects. You'll collaborate and create dynamic learning communities in which marginalized students experience a sense of belonging and shared purpose.
