Applications should include:

Proof of admission into a graduate program at UNM
A letter of intent addressing the applicant's background, any relevant experience s/he brings to Women Studies, and what s/he hopes to accomplish
Resume or Vita
One letter of recommendation from a faculty member on official letterhead
A current (unofficial) transcript
Copy of an undergraduate transcript

Earned degree that is the equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor degree. Please note that some bachelor degrees are based on a three-program and are not considered equivalent to the U.S. bachelor degree. Minimum of a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a U.S. 4.0 scale or comparable grade point average in upper-division (junior and senior level) university course work and in any graduate work already completed.

Graduate TOEFL (internet-based) - 79. Graduate TOEFL (paper-based) - 550. Graduate IELTS - 6.5.

课程简介

The University of New Mexico Women Studies Program offers a transcripted graduate certificate in Women Studies. Graduate students already enrolled in a graduate level program at UNM may apply for admission to the WS graduate certificate program on a rolling enrollment basis. Students may submit their materials at any time, but no later than September 15 for Spring graduation, and no later than March 15 for a Fall graduation. Please be aware that OGS has its own deadlines for formally adding the transcripted certificate to the student's program of study. Students are responsible for informing themselves of the deadlines set by OGS and respecting them.
