To be admitted, students must have graduated from high school (or have attained a high school graduation equivalency) or be at least 18 years of age by the beginning of the entering semester. Official transcripts from high school are required from applicants who do not reach 18 years of age at the beginning of the term. Submission of high school and college transcript is highly recommended for all students for possible academic requirement completion.

Diablo Valley College's nutrition program will provide you with basic knowledge of microbiology, human anatomy, physiology, chemistry and nutrition. You will learn how nutrition affects mental and physical health, physical fitness, and more. Studying nutrition is a great option if you are interested in a career that is dedicated to helping people.<br><br>PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES<br>1. Analyze data and critique information in the<br>nutritional sciences.<br>2. Identify nutrition-related chronic diseases by applying<br>knowledge of nutrient functions, food sources and<br>physiologic systems<br>3.
