The field of behavior analysis consists of two interrelated components. Experimental analysis is designed to investigate the fundamental principles of behavior and applied behavior analysis is designed to apply those principles to solving socially important problems of human behavior. The program is designed to give students the training needed to understand these fundamental principles and to apply them to the solution of human problems.<br><br>The degree, along with the hours of required supervised clinical experience, can qualify students to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) examination. This national credential attests to an individuals' expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis.<br><br>The M.A. in Behavior Analysis requires the completion of 36 credits.
