The Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences undergraduate programs offers five Bachelor's degree and one track option. These thorough, but flexible undergraduate programs provides excellent preparation for graduate education in the life sciences, professional degree programs, or specialized skill set in medical laboratory sciences. This degree program, as with other B.S. programs in the College of Medicine, is rooted in core courses in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Immunology. This track requires further coursework in Neuroanatomy and Molecular Neuroscience to give students a solid foundation for both professional or graduate studies. Students are encouraged to also include coursework in Psychology as electives or potentially as a Minor to broaden their knowledge of cognitive and behavioral neuroscience.
