The Division of Global Affairs (DGA) offers a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Global Affairs?a multidisciplinary field concerned with theoretically informed and problem-oriented approaches to transnational issues and their interaction with local issues. The Division of Global Affairs is an interdisciplinary graduate program based on Rutgers University Newark campus dedicated to preparing students for diverse career paths at the international and global level. DGA offers an unparalleled learning environment which gives students access to a network of academics and practitioners in the field. Central to DGA's focus is the relationship between globalization and the dynamic role of governments, international and regional organizations, corporations, NGOs and civil society.
