We do not require the Graduate Record Examination general test scores. The biology subject test score from applicants in Biological Oceanography/Marine Biology is no longer required. IELTS Academic-6.5 or higher (minimum of 6.5 in each sub score), Provide Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a total score of at least 80 on the Internet-based Test (iBT), and with minimum test scores for each section of: Listening 18 points, Reading 18 points, Writing 18 points, Speaking 18 points – for admission , Toefl paper-based test requires a score of 550 or higher (with scores of 50 on at least two of the three sections and no section score below 45). • One unofficial transcript from each previously attended college or university

Applicants to our master's programs in marine sciences are expected to have completed their B.S. programs before entering the M.S. program. An M.S. Degree is expected of applicants to the Ph.D. program. Students may apply before their previous degree has been earned but must complete this work before entering the program. The oceans, atmosphere and landscape all influence one another. Faculty and researchers in our department work across these environments to tackle the grand scientific challenges of today and tomorrow. World-renowned researchers. Cutting-edge technology. The graduate programs in Marine, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences help students become science leaders. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 3.5 to 1, our nearly 100 graduate students receive individual attention. Most of our graduate students also receive financial support through research and teaching assistantships.
