To be considered for admission to Washington State University as a freshman, a student needs to complete at least 12 years of school, culminating in an appropriate secondary certificate or external examination. (We may consider the first year or two of university in some countries to be secondary level.) Schooling should include preparation in humanities, mathematics, basic sciences, and social sciences. WSU requires a minimum grade point average of 2.70 (on a 4.00 scale) for admission as an international freshman. TOEFL: 213 computer-based (CBT), 79 internet-based (iBT), 550 paper-based (PBT). 课程简介
Develop innovative solutions to agricultural problems at home and around the world. Students in this hands-on major study the science, business, and technology of agriculture and food systems with an emphasis on the management applications supporting production agriculture. The program combines students' creativity and interest in physical and biological sciences, technology, mathematics, and business with their desire to develop innovative solutions to a variety of agricultural problems. Areas of application include precision agricultural operations and services, management of farms and agricultural businesses, production operations, sales, and promotional work in domestic and international agricultural communities. A professional internship is strongly recommended prior to graduation. The major in agricultural technology and production management is part of the bachelor of science degree in agricultural and food systems.
