课程简介
Purdue is well-known for its research, teaching, and extension in the area of Agricultural Finance. The interdisciplinary nature of the department's effort provides an excellent environment for graduate education. Campus meetings and workshops provide many opportunities for graduate student involvement. Many research developments, such as work on expert systems, and other computer-aided decision models, have been incorporated into extension programs and teaching. A Master of Science specialty in agricultural finance can serve as the basis for a career in the private sector, government, or for more advanced graduate work. For many agricultural sector employment opportunities, the M.S. specialty in agricultural finance competes favorably with an M.B.A. degree. Purdue offers courses in accounting, finance and management providing the opportunity for background and in-depth study of topics closely associated with agricultural finance.
