The program of courses in Agriculture is designed to enable students to prepare for a career in this essential and diverse profession. The department offers a comprehensive Agricultural Sciences program and is unique in that most courses provide hands-on experiences designed to give the students a combination of practical skills and technical knowledge.<br><br>The following programs list all courses needed to satisfy major requirements. Students may obtain certificates upon completion of required courses listed. Additional courses needed for completion of the Degree are listed in this catalog. It is recommended that all students consult with the department chairperson, faculty advisor, or counselor to file an educational plan.<br><br>These programs are intended to prepare students for employment following graduation. Students desiring a bachelor's degree should consult with the department chairperson, counselor or advisor to discuss transferability of courses. The curriculum is flexible in nature to allow for previous experience and specialization in a given area of agriculture and agricultural business.
