An Agroecology and Landscape Design Major offers two concentrations, one focused on agriculture and one focused on multifunctional landscapes. Agroecology integrates ecological science with other academic disciplines and knowledge systems to guide research and actions towards the sustainable transformation of our current agrifood system. Landscape Design works where science, conservation, and policy converge to develop solutions for our natural and built environments. Our scope of work is local, regional and international. In this major, you will gain an understanding of ecological systems through hands-on experience in field trips, practical learning, and internships.
