This course is led by an award winning teaching team. We love design and obsess with exploring new ideas and new ways of making things. You will study in a diverse, multi-cultural and creative environment. You will learn to transform different types of buildings with new functions. Through design, you will improve the quality of people's lives by giving them a better place to live, work and play. You will work with our contacts in industry on live projects, such as, Jamie Oliver's Fifteen, and Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange, with real budgets, real sites, and to be built and enjoyed by the public. You will meet big names such as, Will Alsop and Peter Cook, and network with our partners in the Hertfordshire Association of Architects. We also enjoy visiting our friends around the world, in such places as, Japan, Russia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and New York and look at beautiful architecture and design. International collaboration projects, studio visits, student exchange are part of the action-packed experience of the course. Optional Sandwich Placement or Study Abroad year available.
