You’ll develop a deep understanding of design and creative observation, focusing on how buildings are made and the fundamental role of tectonic components in architectural character. In the studio, you’ll refine your skills in everything from casting, pencil and charcoal rendering to detailed large-scale model-making, computer-based graphics and CAD drawing. On the theoretical side, you’ll study key cultural, historical, social, sustainable, material and technical issues in the built environment.
