This certificate program prepares students for entry-level opportunities in the growing construction industry. It introduces students to the communication tools, construction materials, and management principles required for an entry-level position and/or further study in construction management. In addition to the required courses, students may select an elective course in a more specialized area of emphasis. Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to create an effective plan and schedule for a personal or construction project from defined criteria, and monitor, control, and measure performance of the project.
