Green River's Carpentry Technology program is designed to train students for employment as either Residential or Commercial carpenters. Both Day and Evening classes are available.<br>The curriculum is designed to train students in every major area of the carpentry trade. Units of study include Foundation forming and concrete placement, Wall and Roof Framing, and Interior and Exterior finish carpentry. Training takes place in our well-equipped 5500 SF shop which is large enough to build two full size houses. As part of your training you will build full size mock-ups in the shop and when available, build projects for customers in the field to learn and master basic and mid-level carpentry skills<br>This certificate program prepares students with carpentry skills and knowledge related to the entire spectrum of residential, as well as parts of light commercial construction. Completion can lead to employment with either general or specialty contractors whose focus is on residential or light commercial building. Students develop a wide range of skills and knowledge in the carpentry trade ranging from foundations to interior trim.
