The 24-week Electrician Foundation (pre-apprenticeship) program will give you the skills, knowledge and training you need to enter the electrical trade and covers all the competencies for Level 1 (Common Core) of the four level Electrician Apprenticeship program. You will learn about applying circuit concepts, reading and interpreting drawings and manuals, using the Canadian Electrical Code, and installing and maintaining a variety of electrical systems, devices and circuits. You will be covering electrical theory in the classroom and you will get practical hands-on experience in our state of the art electrical concepts lab and electrician shop. Safe work habits are important in this trade and are emphasized, reinforced and practiced throughout the program.
