The Multidisciplinary Studies (MDS) program at College of Education and Human Services (CEHS) offers the opportunity to design your own program of study to help you get the career you want. Develop a breadth of knowledge in your chosen career path by choosing from our array of minors, as well as minors available across campus. The MDS program emphasizes flexibility and problem-solving and helps students learn to use specialized knowledge from individual disciplines to analyze problems from divergent perspectives. An MDS student at CEHS will choose three minor areas (two must be from CEHS) and must demonstrate how these fields of study work together toward their educational and/or career goals.
