课程简介
The Indigenous Studies concentration is designed for students who are interested in issues related to identity, human rights, conservation, planning, language, and culture of indigenous populations in Latin America. Courses are drawn from a variety of disciplines including Anthropology, Art History, Community and Regional Planning, History, Linguistics, and Music. The M.A. in Latin American Studies (MALAS) encourages students to design broad-based programs of study in the humanities and social sciences that reflect their particular interests. The MALAS is used by some students to prepare for graduate training in a specific discipline at the Ph.D. level or in a professional school.
