International students study academic andor elective classes, up to 8 classes in an academic year. Burnaby secondary schools offer a wide range of exciting elective courses so international students can try classes they may not have the opportunity to try in their home country. Burnaby School District welcomes those international students who are looking for a truly Canadian experience, studying short term (5 or 10 months) in a typical Canadian high school alongside local Canadian students. Students may begin their program in September or February.
