The School Counseling program provides the necessary coursework to prepare counselors for work in school counseling departments with a diverse population of students. School counselors typically work in both public and private elementary, middle, and high schools. Graduates use their specialized training to promote the social and emotional well being of students to enhance their academic success Along with the Master’s degree in School Counseling, the following degrees are also offered: Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling, Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Master’s degree in Student AffairsCounseling in Higher Education, PhD in Counseling, and a certification program leading to Director of School Counseling.
