Your writing sample should be about 7-10 pages long, citations added as needed, 12-pt. font
(Times Roman or Arial), double-spaced, pages numbered, your name and title of paper on the
first page, above the start of your text. It is recommended that the topic is either pertinent or
relevant to teaching English as a foreign/second language, indicating familiarity with the aims
and conventions of applied linguistics and/or the field of TESOL, or you may submit an academic paper or essay that demonstrates your ability to use voice, language, clarity, and organization
of thoughts to forward the topic.
Minimum TOEFL score for admission without condition is 550 (paper based), or 80 (internet based).
Minimum IELTS score for admission without condition is 6.5.
