Applicants to the Educational Diagnostician certificate program must
Hold a bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Hold a valid classroom teaching certificate
Courses leading to Educational Diagnostician certification are offered through the M.Ed. in Special Education degree program.
Transcripts showing a bachelor's degree and a GPA of 2.8 or higher
MAT or GRE scores
Background consistent with the Texas Code of Conduct
Test of English as a Foreign Language - A score of 79 internet-based or 550 paper-based is the university minimum requirement for all graduate students.
IELTS - The minimum score required is a 6.0 overall band score Texas AM University Kingsville only accepts scores submitted electronically by the IELTS test center.
DET - The university most competitive applicants have DET scores of at least 100.

课程简介
This degree offers individualized preparation for students who have completed undergraduate programs in special education or related areas. The program stresses field-based learning and experiences while offering ample opportunities to participate in teaching, research, and service. Basic requirements include a core of courses common to all areas of special education, including an investigation of best educational practice for high incidence and low incidence disabilities, current legal issues, collaboration models, transition issues, and inclusion.
