To be admitted, students must have graduated from high school (or have attained a high school graduation equivalency) or be at least 18 years of age by the beginning of the entering semester. Official transcripts from high school are required from applicants who do not reach 18 years of age at the beginning of the term. Submission of high school and college transcript is highly recommended for all students for possible academic requirement completion.
Internet based TOEFL (IBT) - 61. Paper based TOEFL (PBT) - 500. IELTS - Academic test - 5.5 (minimum band score of 4.5).

A certificate or degree in special education prepares students for a rewarding career working with children and adults who have special needs. Graduates can: Assist students with disabilities in kindergarten through grade 12 Assist children and adults in residential care facilities Assist children and adults in non-profit and for-profit agencies Students will learn about disabilities, gain an historical perspective on how the laws have changed over the years, learn teaching strategies for the special education paraprofessional, study psychology and child development, and gain practical occupational work experience.
