Disability is a natural and valuable part of human diversity, and students who are labeled as experiencing disabilities are increasingly contributing to the rich diversity of today’s classrooms. Now, more than ever, highly prepared inclusive educators are needed to transform New Jersey’s schools and to ensure that all of our students are active and valued participants in a diverse, democratic and inclusive society. The 36 credit MEd in Inclusive Education is designed for candidates who are already certified in Early Childhood (P-3) or Elementary Education (K-6) and want to obtain both the Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TSD) certification and a master’s degree in Inclusive Education.
