The B.S.E. in Integrated Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education, with a Concentration in Speech-Language Pathology, joins undergraduate teacher preparation (B.S.E.) with a master's (M.S.) in speech-language pathology. If candidates maintain the dual degree requirements during the undergraduate portion of their program, they receive automatic admission into the graduate speech-language pathology program. This dual degree program (B.S.E/M.S.) provides candidates with two career paths, both dedicated to serving others, teaching and speech-language pathology. The undergraduate program in elementary and special education coupled with general education, a content major and speech courses is rich with real-world experiences in a range of school clinical settings. Undergraduate candidates finish with, at minimum, eligibility for two teaching certificates.
