Ensure your teaching fulfils the requirements set out by the government. Embrace areas of learning and principles of best practice in early primary education across all subjects. Focus on developing your skill in teaching mathematics, English and science at both key stages. Put your theoretical knowledge into practice by completing three teaching placements in the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. Develop your teaching skills across different age ranges to help prepare for future employment.<br><br>Successful completion of the course will lead to the recommendation of Qualified Teacher Status. Although the three-to-seven-years specialism enables you to work across the whole primary age range, it is geared directly to the early years sector, where there is increasing demand for highly trained professionals.
