This programme is designed for international students who do not quite have the academic grades and/or English level to start the first year of an undergraduate degree at Coventry University, but have a stronger profile than an IFP student. If you successfully complete the IY1 you can be offered progression to Year 2 of a business, Art and Design and Engineering - related undergraduate degree at Coventry University. This programme is set at level 4, and is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree in the UK. Your application will be assessed and you may be offered a 3 or 4 term programme depending on your English level and academic background. The duration of the programme is one academic year (nine or twelve months). The year is divided into three or four terms of seven to eight teaching weeks, one reading week, and an examination week. You will undertake up to 28 hours of classroom-based study per week including tutorials.
