This one-year (3 term) programme offers successful students guaranteed progression to Year 2 of BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance, BA (Hons) Business Management with an option to specialise in 11 subject areas and BSc (Hons) Economics with an option to specialise in 13 at London South Bank University. This programme is designed for international students who do not quite have the academic grades and/or English level to start the first year of an undergraduate degree at London South Bank University, but have a stronger profile than a UFP student. All students who successfully complete the IY1 are guaranteed progression to Year 2 of a business-related undergraduate degree at London South Bank University. This programme is set at level 4, and is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate business degree in the UK. Your application will be assessed and you may be offered a 3 or 4 term programme depending on your English level and academic background. The duration of the programme is one academic year (nine or twelve months). The year is divided into three or four terms of seven to eight teaching weeks, one reading week, and an examination week. You will undertake up to 28 hours of classroom-based study per week.
