课程简介
The Department of Educational Administration's Masters in Indigenous Educational Leadership is an academically rigorous course-based Masters degree specialization, designed to support current and aspiring leaders in Indigenous communities and educational organizations. Students take existing courses which are tailored to provide content specific to Indigenous educational contexts, there is greater attention to Indigenous perspectives in scholarship, and the instructors have relevant experience and knowledge. Other unique features of the IELC include intensive academic skill-building supports, an Advisory Group of Indigenous educational leaders, and courses taught by Indigenous instructors (mostly EADM graduates). Eight of the ten courses are offered online, with two Summer symposia, for a total of a 24 month program.
