International Baccalaureate, grade of 5 in English at the Higher Level. The average WMU freshman has a 3.4 cumulative high school GPA on a 4-point scale with a composite score of 23 on the ACT or an 1090 on the SAT. TOEFL Score: 61 iBT, 500 PBT, IELTS Score: 6.0 and above.

课程简介
The earth science education major in the Department of Geosciences at Western Michigan University is designed to provide a basic understanding of subjects that are normally included in a secondary earth science course: Astronomy, Geology, Meteorology, Oceanography. Earth science is a common course of study in many high schools. More than 350 schools in Michigan offer or plan to offer earth science. This program is offered in collaboration with the Mallinson Institute for Science Education for prospective K-12 educators.
