This certificate is designed for graduate students who need training in the areas of research methods, measurement, statistics, and program evaluation to engage in educational and social science research. The Department of Educational Administration, Leadership, and Research (EALR) offers graduate courses and programs that prepare students to become effective leaders in various educational venues, including both P-12 administrative and higher education settings. EALR Faculty possess both academic and experiential expertise related to educational administration and leadership in P-12, community college, postsecondary, and adult education levels, as well as research and statistics related to education. The department also provides support for WKU's EDD program in Educational Leadership, particularly the EDD specializations of postsecondary education and P-12 administration, by offering doctoral level courses, advising EDD students, and serving on dissertation committees.
