Trent's Teacher Education Stream (T.E.S.) provides the ideal path to a career in education. In this unique program you have the opportunity to design your own B.A. or B.Sc. degree. Create a customized learning experience by choosing a major in one of Trent's academic disciplines across the arts or sciences, as well as choosing areas of focus specifically within education. Youll learn and receive guidance from your professors, who are active researchers and practitioners. Career experience is a fundamental aspect of this stream, with T.E.S. students completing education-related placements in every year of their degree. Successfully complete the T.E.S. with a minimum average of 85% and you are guaranteed admission to Trent's competitive two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program, where you will gain your certification to teach in Ontario.
