As an innovative science teacher in the area of biology, chemistry, earth science, or physics, you'll inspire your middle and high school students to take a deeper interest in the world, help them examine and understand natural phenomena, and encourage aptitudes that can lead to careers in science, teaching, or research. Upon graduating you’ll be eligible for initial teaching certification in New York. Our program is small, allowing you to have one-on-one academic and professional counseling with our faculty. We also integrate peer feedback and evaluation into the learning process: you will review and critique tapes of your and other students’ teaching sessions in seminars so you can reflect on and develop your teaching techniques.
