The Elementary Education undergraduate degree program offers two concentrations. Students can choose the middle school concentration, which leads to licensure in grades K-6 and endorsements in two middle school content areas. Students can also choose the early childhood concentration, which leads to licensure in grades K-3 and early childhoodpreschool education (Nursery through grade 1). The Elementary Education undergraduate program is designed to prepare teacher candidates with the essential foundations for instructing children in grades K-8. Licensure at the undergraduate level requires students to declare either an early childhood or middle school concentration.
