This program is designed to support and encourage progress toward a baccalaureate degree and NYS teacher certification for students interested in pursuing teaching as a career. Childhood Education, Teacher Education Transfer (Te Liberal Arts and Sciences) degree is specifically for students interested in teaching grade levels First through Sixth Grade (1-6). This course of study provides students with a balance of coursework between completing Education classes, General Education requirements, and pursuing courses within the students' selected academic major. Students can major/concentrate in General Science, Mathematics or Special Education.
