The University of Vermont's nationally recognized Graduate Counseling Program provides students with the professional knowledge and skills they need to act as facilitators of change and growth for individuals, groups, and organizations. Graduates receive a Master of Science degree and are prepared to succeed as professional counselors in a wide variety of settings. The Clinical Mental Health Counseling (M.S. Degree) and School Counseling (M.S. Degree) programs of the UVM Counseling Program are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), the national accrediting body for counselor education programs.
