Completion of a baccalaureate degree with a satisfactory grade point average.
Satisfactory scores on the general portion of the Graduate Record Examination.

Three completed reference forms from individuals familiar with the student's potential for graduate education.
An on-campus interview day with program faculty and staff.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT total score of 80 or above. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall band score of 6.5 or above.

James Madison University's graduate program in College Student Personnel Administration has been carefully designed to provide you with an opportunity to integrate academic course work with practical experiences in a dynamic two-year professional program. The program is designed to provide professional preparation for college, university, and community college positions.
