近几十年来，大学校园日益国际化。国际学生人数不断增长，出国留学已成为高等教育的标准，因此，学生人数有了新的需求。国际学生服务证书可为研究生水平的学生做好准备，以管理教育交流，引领校园国际化并提供国际学生服务。在国际学生服务中获得证书的学生可以单独或与学生事务MAE一起完成证书课程。成功的毕业生将通过基于理论的指导，通过实习的材料申请以及国际经验获得证书。
The Certificate in International Student Services (CISS) program offers preparation to provide international student services as a component of campus internationalization. Students will gain theoretical and applied knowledge regarding student services (international and domestic), expanded cross-cultural awareness and global consciousness, as well as enhanced intercultural communication skills. Recognizing the unique contribution of international students to the learning environment, students who complete the certificate program will be prepared to provide services and programs to meet the needs of international students.<br><br>The 15-hour certificate program includes 9 hours of required courses and 6 hours of restricted electives. The program requires a study abroad course andor an internship abroad depending on student's international experience (as determined by the advisor upon initial admission to the program). The CISS may be completed as a stand-alone program, or students admitted into the MAE in Student Affairs may incorporate up to 12 hours of the certificate program into their program of study.
