This course provides you with advanced skills and knowledge required to design, develop, build and/or manage websites. It provides the opportunity to work with new and emerging web technologies including HTML5, online interactive design and development, Web 2 Tools and mobile devices. This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to design, build and manage websites as an independent web developer or as part of a team. Possible job roles include web developer, web development manager, web programmer, website manager, webmaster, web administrator, internet developer. This course covers workplace safety, database integration, copyright, ethics, privacy, building dynamic websites and pages and web technology trends. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 8 core units and 12 elective units.
