Only with Approval by the Academic Chair AND Recognised Australian Computer Society (ACS) accredited Bachelor's degree in IT (AQF Level 7), OR recognised Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7) plus an approved qualification in IT (AQF Level 8), OR recognised Honours degree (AQF Level 8) plus five or more years of relevant experience. Recognition of relevant and current informal or non-formal learning may be used for entry requirements, and should be discussed with the Academic Chair. Students can only take a dissertation in their second year if they meet a minimum 2.5/4.0 GPA, and only if they have found themselves a supervisor.

Learn new skills in information technology management and complete a dissertation to build your IT and scientific expertise even further. Across the world, there's a growing need for IT professionals who can not only understand and solve complex problems, but also make informed decisions and lead a team. In this course youll build specialised skills in knowledge management, data resources management and business analysis and get hands-on experience in our IT Innovation Hub. Youll earn credit points by completing a dissertation as part of this course. Working closely with a supervisor, youll choose a topic and explore new approaches to information technology management and the latest developments in your area of interest. If youre eligible, you could complete this course through part-time study, so you can juggle your studies with your career and lifestyle commitments.
