This dual degree allows you to study maths and its practical relevance in software engineering. You'll take more computer science modules than maths modules and it's designed for engineers who are seeking professional accreditation. The course is taught in conjunction with the School of Mathematics and Statistics. It's a natural partnership: maths is a key contributor to the field of computer science. You'll explore the theoretical mathematical side to computing as well as the more practical engineering aspects. In your final year, you'll also get the chance to be part of a research team, working alongside a member of staff in one of our research labs.
