Official High School or College transcripts must be sent directly from the schools attended in the U.S. or abroad. Foreign transcripts in a language other than English must be translated before being submitted to the university. Copies or faxes are considered unofficial and will not satisfy this admission requirement.
All international students must submit entrance exam scores. Take one of the following exams and request your scores to be sent directly to UTEP from the testing center:
SAT: minimum score of 1070 (reading + math sections) with a score of 480 on the reading section
ACT: minimum composite score of 23 with a score of 19 on the English section
TOEFL: minimum score of 500 on UTEP's institutional paper based exam or
a minimum score of 61 on the Internet Based TOEFL (IBT)
UTEP does not accept IELTS scores for admission.

课程简介
The printmaking program's function is to teach students about the numerous possibilities associated with print media and production of multiple like images, or editions, while developing personal concepts and overall artistic strength. The program also presents a brief introduction to the history of the print processes and the artists involved. <br> <br>Prints are made from a variety of materials including:<br>copper or collagraph plates for intaglio<br>wood, linoleum or Komatex for relief prints<br>aluminum plates, paper plates or limestone for lithography<br>screen stencil processes for serigraphy<br>The initial printmaking course focuses on an introduction to the processes of etching, woodcut, lithography, and screenprinting. The course requires students to complete approximately two relief prints, two intaglio prints, two screen prints and two waterless lithographs in addition to preparatory concept drawings. The course focuses on black and white printing with some brief introduction to color. Two tests are given covering terminology, process and image identification.<br><br>Printmaking 2 through 3 are taught concurrently and deal in depth with the process presented in Printmaking I. Students are required to submit two portfolios of work. The course alternates between works concentrating on color screen and color relief processes to a course concentrating on color lithographic and color intaglio techniques. A larger scale exploration of these media are explored within these two courses. Two tests are given covering terminology, image identification, and new processes or historical information presented.
