The Communication program at the University of New Haven are designed to give you the specialized skills you need to creatively and successfully adapt to the continuing evolution of both interpersonal and mass communication. Our Bachelor of Science in Communication will prepare you for a behind-the-scenes career in writing/directing, crew work, producing, and editing by adding sought-after production skills to your studies. Students earning a B.S. degree in communication with a concentration in tv/video production will build the knowledge and skills related to television and video production in addition to a solid grounding in communication fundamentals. Through coursework emphasizing writing and production, as well as laboratory and available internship opportunities, students will learn to become competent and well-rounded television and video production professionals.
