Successful completion of Game Development – Year 1 or Advanced Standing.
Advanced Standing – To be considered, you must apply to and meet the Admission Requirements for the Game Development program. Advanced Standing is based on academic credits (certificate/diploma/degree) completed from a recognized public institution within the past ten years that meet the Academic Requirements of the full first year of the program. Advanced Standing is subject to seat availability.
International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS Academic Test) – minimum score of 6.0 on each test (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) – minimum test scores of 80 on the Internet-Based Test (TOEFL® iBT), 60 on the Paper-Delivered Test, or 550 on the Paper-Based Test.

The Game Art concentration is a second year option of the Game Development diploma program. You start this concentration in the second term of your first year, and continue throughout the second year of the program. This concentration focuses on the creation of Game Art and develops advanced 3D modelling and texturing skills used in 3D games and related industries You learn polygon modelling, image-based modelling and are introduced to animation using a motion capture system. You also learn basic rigging for simple animation, dynamics and procedural texturing.
